Sukta 3

वनस्पते स्तीर्णमा सीद बर्हिरग्निष्टोभैः संमितो देवताभिः । त्वष्ट्रेव रूपं सुकृतं स्वधित्यैना एहाः परि पात्रे ददृश्राम्

vánaspate stīrṇám ā́ sīdá barhír agniṣṭóbhaiḥ sáṃmito devátābhiḥ | tváṣṭrevá rūpáṃ sukṛtáṃ svádhityai enā́ ehā́ḥ pári pā́tre dadṛśrām

O Lord of the Wood, sit down upon the strewn Barhis, duly measured with Agniṣṭobha-chants, with the Gods. Like Tvaṣṭṛ, a form well-fashioned for the axe’s right working—these here have we set in order about the vessel, made manifest to sight.
