स्वदेशीयानां चोरहृतं प्रत्यानीय पणितं रूपं हरेत् ॥ कZ_०२.२९.१८ ॥
Transliteration
svadeśīyānāṃ corahṛtaṃ pratyānīya paṇitaṃ rūpaṃ haret
Translation
In the case of locals (subjects of the realm), if stolen property is brought back, he shall take the ‘rūpa’ that has been pledged/posted (as security/valuation).
