Varaha Purana 96.37 — Adhyaya 96, Shloka 37

The Threefold Power: The Raudrī Observance and the Manifestation of Chāmuṇḍā

FAQs

It preserves a standard Purāṇic motif where māyā functions as a tactical force in narrative combat, illustrating how Sanskrit mythic literature encodes power through psychological and cosmic imagery.

None; the passage is situational (battlefield) without a named place.

Indirectly, it highlights the instability of perception and the role of deception/illusion in conflict, inviting reflection on discernment rather than issuing a direct moral command.
