एवमुक्ता तदा तेन सृष्टिः सा कमलेक्षणा । तस्य ह्यङ्के लयं प्राप्ता सा देवी पद्मलोचना । तस्मादारभ्य कालात् तु ब्राह्मी सृष्टिर्व्यवर्धत ॥
evamuktā tadā tena sṛṣṭiḥ sā kamalekṣaṇā | tasya hy aṅke layaṃ prāptā sā devī padmalocanā | tasmād ārabhya kālāt tu brāhmī sṛṣṭir vyavarddhata ||
So von ihm angesprochen, ging jene Schöpfung — lotusäugig — auf seinem Schoß in die Auflösung ein; jene Göttin, die Lotusäugige. Von jener Zeit an wuchs die aus Brahmā hervorgegangene Schöpfung und breitete sich aus.
