Varaha Purana 28.11 — Adhyaya 28, Shloka 11

The Manifestation of Māyā as Durgā/Kātyāyanī and the Slaying of Vaitrāsura

एवमुक्तस्तया राजा साभिलाषोपभुक्तवान् । तस्य सद्योऽभवत् पुत्रो द्वादशार्कसमप्रभः ॥ २८.११ ॥

evam uktas tayā rājā sābhilāṣopabhuktavān | tasya sadyo 'bhavat putro dvādaśārka-samaprabhaḥ || 28.11 ||

So von ihr angesprochen, ging der König, vom Verlangen ergriffen, mit ihr ein. Sogleich erhielt er einen Sohn, strahlend mit einem Glanz, der zwölf Sonnen glich.
