रूपं वा धनधान्यं वा ह्यायुश्च कुलमेव वा ॥ प्राप्यते येन दानेन तन्ममाचक्ष्व सुव्रत

rūpaṃ vā dhanadhānyaṃ vā hy āyuś ca kulam eva vā || prāpyate yena dānena tan mamācakṣva suvrata

Oder Schönheit, oder Reichtum und Korn, oder langes Leben, oder gar edle Abstammung—durch welche Art von Gabe wird dies erlangt? Sage es mir, o du von guten Gelübden.
