Type: kshetra
Listener: Indra and the devas; Umā present as immediate relational counterpart
Scene: Śiva declares he can leave the Goddess even now, abandon the assumed form, and wander alone; the moment is charged—Umā present, devas watching, the air tense before disappearance.
Divine presence is not to be taken for granted; when dharma is contested, withdrawal of grace becomes a narrative warning to restore balance and reverence.
Vastrāpathakṣetra (within Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa) provides the sacred setting for this episode.
None; it is a dramatic declaration within the tīrtha-māhātmya narrative.
