Tirtha: Vastrāpatha-tīrtha (within Vastrāpatha-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A brāhmaṇa, composed and devoted, petitions Narasiṃha: ‘Grant constant protection to all who dwell in this tirtha.’ Narasiṃha listens as a guardian-king, the sacred landscape witnessing a covenant.
The highest boon is welfare for the community of pilgrims—protection that sustains dharma at a holy place.
Vastrāpathakṣetra as a tīrtha where residents and visiting devotees are to be divinely protected.
A standing religious assurance is requested: continuous protection (sadā rakṣā) for all tīrtha-dwellers.
