Translation

Sie war erfüllt von Dörfern und geschäftigen Wegkreuzungen; belebt von Siedlungen der Kuhhirten; und zudem dicht gedrängt von „Menschenjuwelen“, edlen Pferden und prächtigen Elefanten.
