apamānāttu dakṣasya svāṃ tanūmatyajatpunaḥ | umāṃ kalāṃ tu candrasya purāpūrya ca saṃsthitā
Doch aufgrund der Kränkung durch Dakṣa gabst du deinen eigenen Leib abermals auf. Danach weiltest du als Umā — wahrlich als ein Anteil (kalā) des Mondes — die Welten erfüllend und in deiner göttlichen Gegenwart fest gegründet.
