So ist in Kürze die sündenvernichtende Größe verkündet worden. Das Hören der Erzählung von der Dritten Kṣetra-dūtī schenkt Wohlstand und herrschaftliches Glück.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Third Kṣetra-dūtī (identified in this chapter’s frame with Catvarā-devī-māhātmya)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A sage or narrator concludes the account, seated in an assembly; listeners sit attentively; behind them, a symbolic map-like vignette of Prabhāsa and the Devī’s shrine; the words ‘pāpa-nāśana’ and ‘aiśvarya-kāraka’ are visually suggested through light and abundance motifs.
Listening to sacred narratives (māhātmya-śravaṇa) is itself a dharmic act that purifies and uplifts worldly and spiritual life.
The Third Kṣetra-dūtī/Catvarā-devī shrine within Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
Śravaṇa (hearing) of the māhātmya is recommended as a merit-producing practice.
