भैरवीति च तद्देव्याः पूर्वं नाम प्रकीर्त्तितम् । अस्मिन्पुनश्चांतरे तु अष्टाविंशे चतुर्युगे । त्रेतायुगमुखे राजा अजापालो बभूव ह
bhairavīti ca taddevyāḥ pūrvaṃ nāma prakīrttitam | asminpunaścāṃtare tu aṣṭāviṃśe caturyuge | tretāyugamukhe rājā ajāpālo babhūva ha
Einst wurde jene Göttin unter dem Namen „Bhairavī“ gerühmt. Nun aber, in diesem Manvantara — im achtundzwanzigsten Umlauf der vier Yugas — erschien zu Beginn des Tretā-Yuga ein König namens Ajāpāla.
