Transliteration

sa munistanmahaddṛṣṭvā matsyānāṃ kadanaṃ kṛtam | kṛpayā parayāviṣṭo dāśānprovāca duḥkhitaḥ

Translation

Der Weise, als er das große Abschlachten der Fische sah, wurde von tiefem Mitgefühl erfüllt; bekümmert sprach er zu den Fischern.
