Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 117

सोऽभीहितः प्रजाभिस्तु प्रजाहितचिकीर्षया । धनुर्गृहीत्वा बाणांश्च वसुधामार्दयद्बली

so'bhīhitaḥ prajābhistu prajāhitacikīrṣayā | dhanurgṛhītvā bāṇāṃśca vasudhāmārdayadbalī

So von den Menschen angerufen und entschlossen, ihr Wohl zu bewirken, ergriff der Mächtige Bogen und Pfeile und begann, die Erde (Vasudhā) zu bedrängen und zu unterwerfen.
