ततस्त्वभिहितो देव्या यदि मे त्वं वरप्रदः । ततः सूचीमुखो भूत्वा त्वं पिबापो महाबल

tatastvabhihito devyā yadi me tvaṃ varapradaḥ | tataḥ sūcīmukho bhūtvā tvaṃ pibāpo mahābala

Da sprach die Göttin zu ihm: „Wenn du mir wahrhaft ein Spender von Gaben bist, o Gewaltiger, dann werde nadelmundig und trinke die Wasser aus.“
