यस्मात्तेषु विनिक्षिप्य सहस्रांशं स्वतेजसाम् । अस्माकं दत्तवान्रुद्रो रक्षार्थं जगतां शिवः

yasmātteṣu vinikṣipya sahasrāṃśaṃ svatejasām | asmākaṃ dattavānrudro rakṣārthaṃ jagatāṃ śivaḥ

„Denn Rudra—Śiva, der Glückverheißende, der Beschützer der Welten, legte in jene Waffen einen tausendfachen Anteil seines eigenen feurigen Glanzes und verlieh sie uns zum Schutz der Schöpfung.“
