ब्रह्मोवाच । अशोभनमिदं कार्यं युष्माभिर्यत्कृतं महत् । रुद्रस्यातिसुरूपस्य सेर्ष्या ये हन्तुमुद्यताः

brahmovāca | aśobhanamidaṃ kāryaṃ yuṣmābhiryatkṛtaṃ mahat | rudrasyātisurūpasya serṣyā ye hantumudyatāḥ

Brahmā sprach: Diese große Tat, die ihr vollbracht habt, ist unziemlich—ihr, die ihr aus Neid bereit wart, Rudra, den überaus Schönen, zu erschlagen.
