Type: kshetra
Listener: Śiva (Jagannātha/Maheśvara)
Scene: Devī, as Ardhanārīśvara’s inseparable half, confesses that even from within that unity she cannot reach Śiva’s ‘end’; the image oscillates between intimate union and cosmic vastness.
Śiva’s nature is limitless; even intimate union and constant meditation cannot circumscribe the Infinite.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra, where the Māhātmya presents profound theology—Śiva’s ananta-tattva—through Devī’s speech.
Vaktra-dhyāna (meditation on the Lord’s face) is referenced as a devotional-yogic practice, without a detailed procedure.
