Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 15

एवं स्नात्वा विधानेन दत्त्वाऽर्घ्यं च महोदधौ । संपूज्य पुष्पगंधैश्च वस्त्रैः पुण्यानुलेपनैः

evaṃ snātvā vidhānena dattvā'rghyaṃ ca mahodadhau | saṃpūjya puṣpagaṃdhaiśca vastraiḥ puṇyānulepanaiḥ

So soll man, nachdem man vorschriftsgemäß gebadet und dem großen Ozean Arghya dargebracht hat, ihn vollends verehren mit Blumen, Düften, Gewändern und glückverheißenden Salbungen.
