प्रतिग्रहनिवृत्तस्य यात्रादशगुणं फलम् । तेन दत्तानि दानानि यज्ञैर्देवाः सुतर्पिताः
pratigrahanivṛttasya yātrādaśaguṇaṃ phalam | tena dattāni dānāni yajñairdevāḥ sutarpitāḥ
Für den, der von der Annahme von Gaben ablässt, wird die Frucht der Pilgerfahrt zehnfach. Durch die Spenden, die er gibt, werden die Götter so vollkommen gesättigt, als wären sie durch Opferhandlungen (yajñas) befriedigt worden.
