Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 42

स तु तद्ध्यानसंवृद्धो जीवो भवति तादृशः । अन्ययोन्युद्भवो वापि तथा निदर्शनं सताम्

sa tu taddhyānasaṃvṛddho jīvo bhavati tādṛśaḥ | anyayonyudbhavo vāpi tathā nidarśanaṃ satām

Dieses Lebewesen, durch eben jene Meditation genährt und herangewachsen, wird von gleicher Wesensart; ja selbst das Hervorgehen einer Gestalt aus einer anderen führen die Weisen als Sinnbild dieses Prinzips an.
