यत्र सप्तर्षयो मुष्टास्तेनैव मुनिना प्रिये । तस्यैव पश्चिमे भागे मरीचिप्रमुखा द्विजाः
yatra saptarṣayo muṣṭāstenaiva muninā priye | tasyaiva paścime bhāge marīcipramukhā dvijāḥ
Dort, o Geliebte, wurden die Sieben Ṛṣis von eben diesem Weisen (Vālmīki) „festgehalten“. Und im westlichen Teil jenes Ortes wohnen Brahmanen unter der Führung Marīcis.
