Transliteration

tato hataṃ balaṃ dṛṣṭvā rururmāyāmathā'sṛjat | tāmasīṃnāma deveśi tayāmuhyata naiva sā

Translation

Als er sein Heer erschlagen sah, ließ der Dānava Ruru eine Täuschung namens Tāmasī (Finsternis) entstehen. Doch, o Göttin der Götter, sie wurde von diesem Trug keineswegs verwirrt.
