Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 36

उदयास्तमने नित्यं पर्यस्तः स्याद्दिवाकरः । व्यदृश्यत सकृत्पुंभिः कबन्धैः परिवारितः

udayāstamane nityaṃ paryastaḥ syāddivākaraḥ | vyadṛśyata sakṛtpuṃbhiḥ kabandhaiḥ parivāritaḥ

Bei Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang schien die Sonne stets verzerrt; und bisweilen sahen die Menschen sie, als wäre sie von kopflosen Rümpfen umringt—erschreckende Erscheinungen.
