Transliteration

smṛtamātrā tatra bhittvā pātālatalamudyayau | sā nadīrūpiṇī devī tīrthakoṭisamanvitā

Translation

Sobald ihrer gedacht wurde, erhob sie sich dort und durchbrach die Oberfläche von Pātāla (der Unterwelt). Jene Göttin nahm die Gestalt eines Flusses an und trat hervor, erfüllt von einem Koṭi an Tīrthas.
