देवा ऊचुः । दशानामश्वमेधानां श्रद्धया फलमाप्स्यति । दशाश्वमेधिकंनाम तीर्थमेतन्महीतले । ख्यातिं यास्यति राजेंद्र नात्र कार्या विचारणा
devā ūcuḥ | daśānāmaśvamedhānāṃ śraddhayā phalamāpsyati | daśāśvamedhikaṃnāma tīrthametanmahītale | khyātiṃ yāsyati rājeṃdra nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
Die Götter sprachen: „Mit gläubiger Hingabe erlangt man wahrlich die Frucht von zehn Aśvamedhas. Dieses Tīrtha auf Erden wird Daśāśvamedhika genannt werden. O Bester der Könige, es wird zu Ruhm gelangen — kein Zweifel ist nötig.“
