Transliteration

hutena śāmyate pāpaṃ hutamannena śāmyati | annaṃ hiraṇyadānena hiraṇyaṃ brāhmaṇāśiṣā

Translation

Sünde wird durch die Opfergabe im heiligen Feuer besänftigt; und auch das als Speise Dargebrachte wird heilsam. Speise wird durch die Gabe von Gold geheiligt, und das Gold selbst wird durch den Segen eines Brāhmaṇa geheiligt.
