तं दृष्ट्वा पर्वतं रम्यं दृष्ट्वा चैव महोदधिम् । प्रदक्षिणं ततश्चक्रे सप्तकृत्वो निशाकरः । गिरेः प्रदक्षिणां कृत्वा गतो यत्र महेश्वरः
taṃ dṛṣṭvā parvataṃ ramyaṃ dṛṣṭvā caiva mahodadhim | pradakṣiṇaṃ tataścakre saptakṛtvo niśākaraḥ | gireḥ pradakṣiṇāṃ kṛtvā gato yatra maheśvaraḥ
Als er den lieblichen Berg sah und auch den großen Ozean erblickte, vollzog Niśākara (der Mond) siebenmal die Pradakṣiṇā. Nachdem er die Umrundung des Berges vollendet hatte, ging er dorthin, wo Maheśvara weilte.
