Type: kshetra
Scene: A commanding sage/authority figure declares a curse already given, yet points the way to Śaṅkara’s favor; the devotee is urged to hurry toward a Śiva shrine.
When bound by karmic consequence, the sure remedy is wholehearted worship of Śiva, the supreme giver of grace.
Within Prabhāsa-kṣetra’s māhātmya, the instruction to approach Śaṅkara aligns the story with the sanctity of the Prabhāsa sacred landscape.
Samārādhana (proper propitiatory worship) of Śaṅkara—devotional practice as the means to relief and purification.
