अद्य मे सफलं जन्म जीवितं च सुजीवितम् । यत्त्वया मे सुपुत्रेण दृष्टो लोकपितामहः

Transliteration

adya me saphalaṃ janma jīvitaṃ ca sujīvitam | yattvayā me suputreṇa dṛṣṭo lokapitāmahaḥ

Translation

Mṛkaṇḍu sprach: „Heute hat meine Geburt Frucht getragen, und mein Leben ist wahrhaft gelebt—denn du, mein guter Sohn, hast den Großvater der Welten (Brahmā) geschaut.“
