नग्नः स्यान्मलवद्वासा नग्नः कौपीनवस्त्रधृक् । द्विकच्छोऽनुत्तरीयश्च विकच्छोऽवस्त्र एव च
nagnaḥ syānmalavadvāsā nagnaḥ kaupīnavastradhṛk | dvikaccho'nuttarīyaśca vikaccho'vastra eva ca
Als ‘nackt’ gilt, wer schmutzige Gewänder trägt; ebenso ist ‘nackt’, wer nur ein Lendentuch (kaupīna) trägt. Ebenso gelten als ‘nackt’ jene, die ein zweifach eingestecktes Tuch ohne Obergewand tragen, jene mit locker angelegtem Tuch, und jene ganz ohne Kleidung.
