Type: kshetra
Scene: An aged ascetic in Prabhāsa sits in steady posture, rosary in hand, eyes half-closed; the landscape suggests a coastal sacred plain with distant temple silhouettes and wind-bent trees, conveying intensified restraint and inwardness.
Perseverance in japa-dhyāna and disciplined restraint, sustained through life’s later stages, is praised as true spiritual steadfastness.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, as the ground where sustained japa and meditation are portrayed as especially meritorious.
Japa (mantra repetition), dhyāna (meditation), and intensified restraint/withdrawal as a form of tapas.
