Narrator (within Śiva–Devī dialogue context)
Tirtha: Maṃkīśvara (Prabhāsa-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: The Lord, after speaking, dissolves into light at the sacred spot; Maṃki, serene and fulfilled, relinquishes the body and ascends toward Śiva’s luminous realm.
Divine encounter and grace culminate in liberation—devotion and the Lord’s direct favor lead to Śivaloka.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, in the Maṃkīśvara Māhātmya portion of the Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya.
No explicit ritual is prescribed here; the verse highlights the fruit (phala) of divine revelation and sanctity—attainment of Śiva’s realm.
