यदा न धारणे शक्तास्तस्य गर्भस्य ताः स्त्रियः । ततस्ताभ्यः स शीतांशुर्निपपात वसुंधराम्
yadā na dhāraṇe śaktāstasya garbhasya tāḥ striyaḥ | tatastābhyaḥ sa śītāṃśurnipapāta vasuṃdharām
Als jene weiblichen Gestalten (die Richtungen) nicht die Kraft hatten, jenen Keim zu tragen, und ihn nicht mehr halten konnten, da fiel Soma, der Kühlstrahlige, von ihnen auf die Erde.
