Transliteration

vedavanniścalaṃ manye purāṇaṃ vai dvijottamāḥ | vedāḥ pratiṣṭhitāḥ sarve purāṇe nātra saṃśayaḥ

O Bester der Zweimalgeborenen, ich halte das Purāṇa für fest und maßgebend wie die Veden. Alle Veden sind in den Purāṇas gegründet — daran besteht kein Zweifel.
