Scene: Satī, having heard the exclusion, flares with anger; she denounces Dakṣa as wicked and turns inward, troubled about facing Maheśvara.
Dishonor shown to the Lord and His devotees is a grave adharma that destabilizes even ‘religious’ ceremonies.
The passage is embedded in Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya, a sacred-geography praise section of Prabhāsa.
None; the verse is a moral-emotional turning point in the Dakṣa-yajña narrative.
