rāma uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama | darśayasva svakaṃ liṃgaṃ yajñe vajreṇa chāditam
Type: kshetra
Scene: Rāma, hands folded, petitions Śiva to reveal the hidden/covered liṅga within a yajña setting; the thunderbolt motif suggests a radiant, weapon-like cover over the liṅga.
The highest boon is not worldly gain but sacred vision (darśana) of Śiva’s Liṅga, sought for inner purification.
The request belongs to the Prabhāsa-kṣetra cycle; the liṅga’s special status is tied to the tīrtha’s māhātmya.
A desire for liṅga-darśana within a yajña-context is stated; it implies reverent approach to Śiva’s emblem as a purificatory act.
