Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 97

दैत्यैस्त्रैलोक्य आक्रांते तृतीयो वामनोभवत् । संक्षिप्यात्मानमंगेषु बृहस्पतिपुरःसरः

daityaistrailokya ākrāṃte tṛtīyo vāmanobhavat | saṃkṣipyātmānamaṃgeṣu bṛhaspatipuraḥsaraḥ

Als die Daityas die drei Welten überrannt hatten, wurde die dritte Erscheinung zu Vāmana. Indem Er seine Gestalt in seinen Gliedern zusammenzog, schritt Er voran, mit Bṛhaspati als Vorangehenden.
