Śiva (explicitly addressing Devī: “devi”)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: In a temple courtyard near the sea, a donor presents a decorated cow with garlands and a small gold offering to brāhmaṇas; hands raised in prayer to Śiva; ancestral figures faintly suggested as being uplifted.
Tīrtha merit is strengthened by dāna offered in a Śiva-centered intention, benefiting not only the pilgrim but the family line.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra (the prescriptions continue the Prabhāsa observance described in this chapter).
Go-dāna (gift of a cow) and kāñcana/hiraṇya-dāna (gift of gold), with a prayer for Śiva’s pleasure.
