ईश्वर उवाच । तस्यैव पूर्वदिग्भागे लकुलीशस्तु मूर्तिमान् । स्वयं तिष्ठति देवेशि कृत्वा घोरं तपः पुरा
īśvara uvāca | tasyaiva pūrvadigbhāge lakulīśastu mūrtimān | svayaṃ tiṣṭhati deveśi kṛtvā ghoraṃ tapaḥ purā
Īśvara sprach: Im östlichen Bereich eben dieses Ortes, o Herrin der Götter, steht Lakulīśa dort in leibhaftiger Gestalt, nachdem er einst furchtbare Askese geübt hatte.
