ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि पुष्पा ध्यायमनुत्तमम् । येन चार्कस्थले देवि शीघ्रं तुष्यति पूजितः

Transliteration

īśvara uvāca | śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi puṣpā dhyāyamanuttamam | yena cārkasthale devi śīghraṃ tuṣyati pūjitaḥ

Translation

Īśvara sprach: „Höre, o Göttin. Ich werde das unvergleichliche Kapitel über die Blumen darlegen; dadurch wird an Arkas heiligem Ort die Sonne, wenn sie verehrt wird, schnell zufrieden.“
