Transliteration

vedaghoṣo na yatrāsti gurupūjādikaṃ na ca | pitṛkarmavihīnaṃ ca tadbhūtasya gṛhaṃ smṛtam

Translation

Wo kein Vortrag der Veden erklingt, keine Verehrung der Lehrer und dergleichen geschieht und die Ahnenriten vernachlässigt werden—jenes Haus gilt als Wohnstatt eines bhūta (ruhelosen Geistes).
