Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 19

प्रतिष्ठिते ततः सूर्ये ददुर्दानानि भूरिशः । ततः क्षेत्रनिवासिभ्यो गोभूहेमांबराणि च

pratiṣṭhite tataḥ sūrye dadurdānāni bhūriśaḥ | tataḥ kṣetranivāsibhyo gobhūhemāṃbarāṇi ca

Nachdem die Sonne geweiht worden war, gaben sie überreiche Gaben. Dann verliehen sie den Bewohnern des heiligen Gebietes Kühe, Land, Gold und auch Gewänder.
