„Mein Fuß erhob sich gegen sie, doch er fiel nicht auf ihren Leib. Wenn es aus Kindlichkeit oder aus Verblendung geschah, so möget Ihr es verzeihen.“
Yama
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A penitent son with raised foot halted mid-motion, hands folded in apology toward an elder or divine protector; the moment freezes between impulse and restraint.
Acknowledging fault and seeking forgiveness is dhārmic; intention and restraint matter even when harm is not completed.
The episode is part of the Prabhāsa-kṣetra māhātmya’s sacred storytelling.
No explicit rite; the verse expresses a prāyaścitta-like attitude (repentance and request for pardon).
