Transliteration

pratipadbrāhmaṇāṃścāpi bhojayedvi dhivatsudhīḥ | vāsobhirahataiścāpi gandhamālyānulepanaiḥ

Translation

Am Pratipad-Tag soll der Weise auch die Brāhmaṇas nach rechter Vorschrift speisen und sie mit ungetragenen neuen Gewändern ehren, ebenso mit Düften, Blumengirlanden und Salbungen.
