Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 74

तैः पूज्यो भगवान्देवो बालरूपी पितामहः । ये वेदाध्ययने युक्तास्तैः प्रपूज्यः पितामहः

taiḥ pūjyo bhagavāndevo bālarūpī pitāmahaḥ | ye vedādhyayane yuktāstaiḥ prapūjyaḥ pitāmahaḥ

Von ihnen soll der selige Herr—Pitāmaha (Brahmā) in Kindesgestalt—verehrt werden. Und von denen, die dem Vedenstudium hingegeben sind, soll Pitāmaha mit besonderer Ehrfurcht verehrt werden.
