Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 13

एवमुक्त्वा द्विजश्रेष्ठो गोमतीतीरमाश्रितः । उपस्पृश्य यथान्यायं शास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा

evamuktvā dvijaśreṣṭho gomatītīramāśritaḥ | upaspṛśya yathānyāyaṃ śāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā

Nachdem er so gesprochen hatte, begab sich der Beste der Zweimalgeborenen an das Ufer der Gomati und vollzog, der rechten Ordnung gemäß, die vorgeschriebene Reinigungshandlung (Ācamana und dergleichen), wie sie in den Śāstras geboten ist.
