Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 132

तत्रोक्तं मनुना पुत्र वेदांतैर्भाष्यकारिभिः । तत्प्रमाणं प्रकर्तव्यं प्रेतत्वं भवतोऽन्यथा

tatroktaṃ manunā putra vedāṃtairbhāṣyakāribhiḥ | tatpramāṇaṃ prakartavyaṃ pretatvaṃ bhavato'nyathā

Mein Sohn, was dort von Manu gelehrt und ebenso von den Autoritäten des Vedānta und den großen Kommentatoren dargelegt wurde, ist als Maßstab anzunehmen und in die Tat umzusetzen; andernfalls wird dich der Zustand eines Preta (ruheloser Totengeist) ereilen.
