Transliteration

sutṛptā yavasenaiva madhyāhne tṛṣitāṃ tadā | gṛhītvā niryayau vipro dāmabaddhāṃ jalāśayam

Translation

Vom Futter allein gesättigt, bekam sie zur Mittagszeit Durst. Da nahm der Brahmane sie—noch immer am Strick gebunden—und ging hinaus zu einem Wasserbecken.
