उद्द्योतं कुरुते सूर्यो यादृक्तस्याभिसंमतः । यज्ञभागं विनाऽप्येष भयात्पार्थिवसत्तम
uddyotaṃ kurute sūryo yādṛktasyābhisaṃmataḥ | yajñabhāgaṃ vinā'pyeṣa bhayātpārthivasattama
O bester der Könige, selbst Sūrya spendet Licht nur in dem Maß, das jener billigt; und aus Furcht verrichtet er weiterhin sein Amt, auch ohne seinen Anteil am yajña zu empfangen.
